Corrections Policy
We want readers to be able to rely on what they read here. When a meaningful factual error is identified, we aim to correct it.
What we correct
We correct material factual errors, inaccurate specifications, incorrect names or dates, broken factual claims, and other mistakes that could meaningfully mislead a reader.
Updates and clarifications
Some articles are updated because products, prices, services, regulations, or other facts change over time. An update is not necessarily a correction. When a clarification materially changes the meaning of a passage, we aim to make that change clear.
How to report an issue
If you believe an article contains an error, use our Contact page and include the article title or URL along with the specific statement you believe needs review.
Editorial responsibility
Corrections are made based on the underlying facts, not because an advertiser, sponsor, brand, or affiliate partner prefers different coverage.
