Pineapple Lime Margarita: Your Beach Vacation in a Glass (Without the Flight or Sand in Weird Places)

It’s fruity, it’s zesty, and it’s just boozy enough to make you forget that your "island getaway" is really just your backyard with a tiki torch and a Bluetooth speaker playing ocean waves on loop. But hey—close enough.

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker or Blender

Ingredients

  • Ice enough to fill your glass
  • 4 oz pineapple juice fresh if you’re fancy canned if you’re chill • 2 oz lime juice (fresh-squeezed, always)
  • 1 oz triple sec orange liqueur goodness
  • 2 oz tequila blanco or reposado — your vibe your rules
  • Salt for rimming the glass
  • Fresh pineapple slices or lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

Rim It

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into salt. Instant margarita magic.

Shake It

  • In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice, pineapple juice, lime juice, triple sec, and tequila.
  • Shake it like you mean it — about 15–20 seconds — until the shaker gets frosty on the outside.
  • (No shaker? No problem. Stir it up in a mason jar with a lid or just swirl it really well in a glass.)

Pour + Garnish

  • Fill your rimmed glass with fresh ice. Strain your margarita over the ice.
  • Top it off with a juicy slice of pineapple or a bright lime wedge for major “I’m-on-a-beach” energy.

Sip & Repeat

  • Take a sip, do a little happy dance, and then make another… because one is never enough.

Notes

Tips to Take It Next Level:
Want it spicy? Throw a slice of jalapeño into the shaker before you mix.
Feeling boujee? Muddle a few chunks of fresh pineapple before shaking.
Big party? Quadruple the recipe and serve it in a giant pitcher — no judgment.
